Statewide Educational Events & Fundraisers

Next year will be a new and exciting time for us as January 28, 2007 the new Acupuncture legislation takes effect. Want to know what this will mean and where will go from here? Join us at the one of our educational events across the state.

Southeastern PA Education Event & Fundraiser:
Legislative Victory. What it means and where do we go from here?
When: Sunday, January 21st at 1pm
Where: The Won Institute in Glenside, PA - 137 S. Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038
Cost: $35 for APA Members / $50 for non-members
Credits: 1 NCCAOM PDA/CEU

Central PA Education Event & Fundraiser:
Legislative Victory. What it means and where do we go from here?
When: Saturday, February 3rd at 1pm
Where: Pinnacle Health Polyclinic Hospital - 2501 N Third Street, Harrisburg PA 17105
Cost: $35 for APA Members / $50 for non-members
Credits: 1 NCCAOM PDA/CEU

When: Saturday, March 3rd at 1pm
Where: Allegheny Hospital, MacGovern Conference Center, 2nd Floor, Kent Room - 390 East North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
Cost: $35 for APA Members / $50 for non-members
Credits: 1 NCCAOM PDA/CEU

Our educational seminar will be discussing the specifics and ramifications of the new law and how it will effect the practice of all PA Acupuncturists. Additionally we will talk about the new Herbal regulations that will be in place soon separating the R.Ac. vs. the R.OM. This seminar has tentatively been approved for 1 NCCAOM PDA/CEU point.

The seminar will be followed by a general APA meeting to discuss the formation of an Herbal Review Board to be presented to the Board of Medicine as well as a brief discussion on APA Executive Board elections and our agenda for 2007 and where to go from here legislatively.
